Lifestyle nutrition is better than fad diets.

I'm just going to come on here and type what I'm passionate about. No catchy phrases, just raw and real Amanda.

My biggest motivator to be a fit and healthy person was seeing people I love go through every fad diet there is. I've seen friends & family follow every single diet out there following it flawlessly, lost weight, and then gained it all back plus more. They've never been happy, never liked the way they looked, and never found something they could stick to. I knew at 19 years old that I did not want this to be me.

My journey hasn't been perfect and there's been things I've tried that didn't work, but one thing remained was that I wasn't going to go all in to something and then totally fall off because it wasn't sustainable. I did the whole eat very little and do a bunch of cardio thing when I was still immature in my 20's, but once I hit into my 30's, it all started to come together. I really learned that eating enough for my goals and weight lifting was where it's at. No more super restrictive ways of eating, I eat things that make me feel good and give me the proper amount of fuel. I don't do a ton of cardio and I progressively strength train.

Moral of the story is, I am very passionate about following a nutrition and fitness program that is sustainable, works in your lifestyle, and something that you can do long term. I want you to love it, see the point in it, and see the value in doing what you're doing. There's no magical "fad diet", there's only the one that gives you results, keeps you healthy, and that you can do for the rest of your life. So if you're doing anything crazy right now that you know you can't sustain, really think about it. Of course you have to push to get to your goals and may take a bit harder work than what you would need to be in a maintenance phase, but if it's super extreme, just stop. Re-evaluate. Think about what you're doing. Find something that you can make a lifestyle. AND THEN GO BE HOT!!!!!
